TWININGS TASTING NOTES

An exclusive to Twinings, two first picked, first flush Darjeeling Teas. The colour of these extremely fine teas (the champagne of the tea world) is rich bright, light amber. The first flush darjeeling tea from the Chamong Tea Garden yields a perfectly smooth and balanced cup whose character is made exceptional by very gentle juicy peachy fruit notes, without a heavy muscatel perfume. a month ago

HOW TO MAKE BLENDED AS A MORNING DETOX

We believe that how you make your fruit or herbal infusion is as important as the ingredients you use, so here are our tips:
  • Use freshly drawn cold water
  • Use water at a “rolling boil” (100?C)
  • Use 1 teabag per cup or 1 teabag per person in a glass teapot (“one for the pot” isn’t needed!)
  • Steep for 2 to 3 minutes (or to your taste) to release all of the flavour
  • Always without milk

… and for freshness every time, keep your infusions somewhere cool, dark, dry and airtight!

Ingredients

  • Lemon Peel (35%),
  • Lemon Verbena (24%),
  • Limeflowers (21%),
  • Liquorice Root, Ginger Root, Milk Thistle (5%),
  • Peppermint

Morning Detox tea is a daily ritual for me now and is by far my best tea ever. I've been drinking this tea regularly for about 5 months since I gave up coffee last April. It was the best of whole bunch of teas I tried before settling down to my favourites. It's refreshing and reviving. The fresh smell and colour is so light and very appropriate for that first cuppa of the day. I now find myself drinking it throughout the day. Please do not stop making this. The benefits range is great!
