Brighter moments!

Dear fellow tea-lovers,

You may have heard that our Everyday Tea won a 2 star gold award from the Guild of Fine Foods - marvelous news indeed and well-deserved, even if i say so myself!

Our special blend of fine black teas from around the world gives it a bright, full-bodied taste, and a colour as golden as the autumn leaves. It reminds me of the other lovely things about autumn – bonfires in the garden, clear white skies, new scarves and hats.

But I always think one of the best things is arriving home to a hot cup of tea and one of my favourite brighter moments involves a pot of Everyday tea after a bracing walk with my Standard Poodle, Ebony. Sat by the fire, with the papers and a couple of chocolate digestives, there really is no better place to be!

What’s your perfect Everyday moment?

Tell us about it on our page, and we’ll send you a lovely little something for the ones we like best.

After a hard day at work and a long cold (especially today!) walk home, there's nothing better than to put the kettle on and relax with a pot of full flavoured Assam tea. It's got that little extra something it it, and is perfect with a mince pie!

I love the African Honeybush and lavendar tea, I drink it all day, but still the best is when I get a new delivery and having been depreived for a few days, as I have inevitably run out before I remember to order more, that first kick of lavendar is amazing. For a chocolate moment you can't beat strawberry and mango for dunking, I have been doing this for 15 years!
Finding out I could order direct from you has revolutionised my tea drinking and I can actually drink what I want rather than what the supermarkets think I want :)

Everyday is being thankful for the Decaffe Twinings tea, its just so nice to know I can still enjoy my Twinings without the caffeine and can drink it without my energy levels dropping, thank you so much Twinings.

As a new (& permanent) convert to Twinings Classics, I am steadily reducing a thick lining of tannin in my tum caused by up to 10 cups of strong supermarket T-Bags per day .... Everyday moments for me now are the T- T- Bs for my T !

I go to the gym before work (get it out the way!), and when I'm done, it's lovely to come back to my desk and have a cup of everyday tea......while the office is quiet still, I can just relax, and have a moment of calm (before the storm starts!). Really helps me to gather my thoughts and prepare for the day ahead :-)

Everday Tea is my moment of calm in our busy office! Every day I make sure that I take just 10 minutes out to just stop... relax and enjoy a nice hot cup of tea! Its like the world stops and then I can face the rest of the day!! There is nothing else like it!

The look of amazement on waiters faces when I ask for hot water because they do not serve Twinings teas I carry my own for just such occasions whether it is a 5 star restaurant or the local cafe I won't drink anything else. Earl Grey for breakfast and Lady Grey for the rest of the day. That is my everyday moment.

I have recently rediscovered baking, and there is no brighter moment than sitting down with a cup of tea and a home made muffin, biscuit or slice of parkin. As soon as I can work out the recipe for the perfect ginger nut, let the dunking commence!

At the end of a wintery day I like to relax and unwind in a warm candlelit room. I sit beside the large window looking out over my balcony and at the trees and mountains in this Norwegian town. I keep a selection of teas which I enjoy for their relaxing qualities from the smokey lapsang souchong to the crisp pure white tea. I really love to have a cup of pure chamomile or rooibos (Redbush) when I am in need of an extra comfort.

My perfect everyday moment has to be coming back in after a walk in the woods or on the canal in the crisp weather of Autumn and Winter with my other half and getting the kettle on. Whilst I'm brewed a fresh teapot full of Everyday tea or Earl Grey if I'm feeling luxurious I get the bath running, light the candles and retreat to the bathroom for 30 minutes of relaxation and bliss whilst enjoying my favourite cuppa. Nothing better for me!

Introducing those who drink tea only when they are really ill to Everyday... and watching their faces... and hearing them say "You know, I COULD drink this every day"

I have been drinking Twinnings Earl Grey tea for over 20 years now and it just keeps ketting better and better. I went on a 'water only' diet last November and the hardest thing was not giving up food but giving up my Earl Grey... still I have lost the weight now and relishing my Earl Grey every morning and appreciate it more than ever.

One of my bright every day moments is when I get home from work, make myself a big mug of tea, sit down and my kitten, Pacha, jumps up into my lap to say hello. It's even better when it's on a Friday and I know I have two free days to do what I want!

For me it's on a Monday where I'm looking forward to next weekend. Coming in after a day of shopping in the hustle and bustle of crowds, and the pouring rain, to then make a great cup of Everyday, kick my shoes off and stick the news on - bliss!!

Can you imagine what it is like to run a weekend event for 1000 young people, well I do and as a volunteer I do not get paid. Well this year I was given the Leaders Lounge to buy for, this lounge is for the Leaders who pay to bring their young people along.
I decided that the lounge should not only serve great coffee which we had brought in from Kenya but should serve the very best tea, after all these leaders have given up their own time and money to ensure the young people from their youth groups have a great weekend.
The decision was a large catering pack of the normal brands, we serve about 600 cups over the weekend or smaller boxes of Everyday, I guess I never really had a choice if I was to make it special it had to be the Everyday.
I did consider if it was worth the extra money but on the one and only occasion over the weekend I had a chance to sit down with a cup of tea, I looked around the Leaders Lounge at the relaxed faces of the leaders, with cups of Everyday. Was it worth it? Yes.
