Win the entire Infusions and Green Tea range to help give you a kick start in 2010

We are now well into the New Year, and despite the odd flurry of snow that is still lingering, the festivities are well and truely over, and our hectic day to day life resumes.  Why not give yourself the opportunity of a little "me" time.  Perhaps a relaxing bath with a dreamy cup of Camomile, Honey and Vanilla, or a chat with a friend over a fruity Cranberry, Raspberry and Elderflower.  Simply tell us which Infusion or Green Tea you like to treat yourself with and when you like to drink it, and our favourite will win the whole range.  Imagine......a box of each to share with your friends, or to keep as a little secret just for you.

A boiling hot cup of Assam loose-leaf first thing in the morning never fails to perk me up. The brisk and malty flavour make this the ideal breakfast tea for a frantic schedule. African rooibos tea, on the other hand, is great for a soothing drink with your friends. I first tasted this in a small cafe in London a few years ago; the creamy vanilla and sweet strawberry are balanced excellently by the almost nutty rooibos flavour. It's also full of antioxidants and great for the skin! I have to mention peppermint tea as well, it has helped many sleepless nights and those stressful evenings before a busy day at work. I was diagnosed with chronic IBS a few years back, and this tea was one of the only things that eased the aches and pains. With its smooth and refreshing taste, it clears your mind and unbinds the stomach - perfect for a quiet night in!

I work in a very demanding, chaotic and stressful job. My excuse for a break is a cup of tea.... always Strawberry and Mango! Even in hot weather it's lovely, I make it up, let it cool and put it in the fridge and add a few ice cubes, not the traditional way of drinking it but I love it! All my colleagues comment on the smell and flavour of these wonderful teas, they're starting to experiment with them! It's great as we're able to try different teas and find out which we like! Almost a herbal tea club!!!!!!!

Perhaps this is a bit late, but better late than never. I want to express my adoration for the chamomile, honey, and vanilla tea, a cup of which I've had to fetch as I type.

I have frequently described this blend as comfort in a cup. It isn't what I think of as sweet, because sweet has a sickly note, but I could drink cup upon cup of this without my stomach turning. It's more mellow, and slows up time. Drinking it is like drinking the feeling of stormy morning when you can stay in bed, the drift of the covers and your own little pocket of warmth cocooning you in cosiness.

It can take the edge off a stressful day, and make a person feel things aren't so bad after all.

It used to be Peppermint for our bedtime routine, the kiddies, in their PJ's 'n' slippers and our little teapot of tea in front of the fire. Until, they spent a night at Grandma's and she had Camomile, Honey and Vanilla. She gave them a teabag to bring home. I couldn't understand why they loved it so much until I remembered when they were babys I used to put warm camomille tea in their bottle for a drink. It doesn't have the sugar that fruit juice has and is more tasty than water so it increased their fluid intake ( and the dentist will agree!). So now we have camomille, vanilla and honey and we take a few tea bags with us whenever we go away...we're not as bad as Gradma though, she takes her own teapot....

I really love Camomile, Honey and Vanilla! Even though I am an avid tea fan I have never liked camomile and so always felt that there was a huge space at night-time where I needed a relaxing, comforting caffeine-free tea, and then I found this! I am notoriously bad at getting ready for bed (my routine takes almost an hour as I faff about so much and get caught up in doing other things!) but I have made a routine of getting into bed at 11.30pm with a cup of camomile, honey and vanilla plus a chapter or two of the book I'm currently reading then lights out...I actually look forward to a cup of this every night now! It feels like someone is giving me a big hug and saying "It's ok, you can go to sleep now" and removes all the negative thoughts from my head. Bliss! P.s. After your comment above I am going to have a cup with my next bath, can't wait!! Carmel W

I've a bit of a confession to make... I had an online tea & coffee 'shop' for many years. I tasted, blended, and sold some of the most unusual teas and coffees in the world.
What tea did I drink when I came home each night? Twinings! I welcomed that luxuriously delicious cup of Twinings Earl Grey tea after a long day's work blending, testing, tasting, and selling tea. Why Twinings Earl Grey? Well, there is no cleaner, clearer, more gentle Bergamot flavoured tea that I have ever tasted. So, now that I live in the UK, I am delighted to work and relax every day with my favorite 'liquid refreshment'. And I prefer drinking it 'neat'. Thank you Twinings for blending such a gorgeous tea!

Well, my favorite of your teas is the plain and simple Twinning's Camomile. I love it so much in fact that when I went to Italy earlier this year I took a box with me. After long days out and sunning myself in the balmy climes of the med I would walk back to my small two bedroom house where I was staying with two Italians and put the kettle on. Now, this being the land of coffee you would expect the Italians to be a little skeptical of tea. But no, everyday we would get home and drink a cup or two of this tea and we all enjoyed it so much that over long conversations about life and love we got to know each other very well. Friends of friends came over and in the end there was one that really caught my eye. I wont mention names here but now every time I sit back at the end of a long day I remember that girl so many miles away and thoughts of happiness, love and warm, sweet tea come rushing back.

I was a big fan of Green Tea and Fruit Tea, but didn't realise that Twinings had combined them until I started a new job and my now 'best work friend' offered me a Green Tea with Cranberry. Not only did it put me at ease on my stressful first day, but it started a great relationship, with my friend and with these teas!! I love them, my boyfriend laughs because I buy a new box before I've finished the last one, but I just love them! My favourite is the Cranberry Green Tea, but I also adore the Orange and Lotus flower (and don't even get me started on the Strawberry and Mango Infusions which can brighten up any day!!)

I love Green Tea Earl Grey - a genius combination of the zest of bergamot with the refreshing taste of green tea. I drink it first thing in the morning to wake my brain gently, and then there's a cup on the go next to my computer most of the day. I got 20 boxes of it as a Xmas present from my mother - which will probably last me another few weeks! I just wish that I could get hold of it in a supermarket. The buyers are really missing a trick there. Many people like me are hooked on Earl Grey but can't drink much of the black tea version as we end up frazzled from all the caffeine. Earl Grey green tea though is so light that you can drink it all day. Thank you for bringing bergamot and green tea together.

My favourite Green Tea is Green Tea with Jasmine. I love the fresh taste of the tea and especially love the gorgeous scent of jasmine, which is one of my best-loved flowers. Because the tea is so light and refreshing, I prefer to drink it in the summertime. However, one of the main reasons I love Green Tea with Jasmine is that it reminds of some very happy younger days many, many years ago. A Chinese restaurant that was a favourite amongst my closest friends and I served a pot of jasmine tea with all its meals; every time I taste and smell a lovely cup of Green Tea with Jasmine, I am instantly transported back to those days. Green Tea with Jasmine not only tastes and smells lovely, it helps to bring back lots of wonderful memories!
