Our flagship store holds a special place in all our hearts at Twinings as this is where it all started over 300 years ago. Our humble beginnings started in 1706 when Thomas Twining purchased “Tom’s Coffee House” and the journey began! Did you know that Twinings actually started out as a Coffeehouse? Surprised? We have recently undergone a MASSIVE refurbishment of our 216 Strand Store. The store, has been completely transformed into a fresh, modern, informative and interactive wellness destination. Although the appearance has changed, Tea & Herbs remain at the heart of everything we do and you will still find your favorite Twinings blends, gifts and premium teas from around the world available to purchase.

Did you know we also run Masterclasses, both in-store and now online? You can join us throughout the day, online or in the heart of London at 216 Strand, to learn, discover and sip your way through a world of Tea! Our stunning new downstairs tasting room can seat up to 10 guests and we can also accommodate larger groups with after-hours sessions.
