The first Monin syrup was created by Frenchman and small-town manufacturer Georges Monin in the early 1900s. George was the master of entertainment and loved nothing more than cooking lavish meals for his family and friends.
We share his passion for amazing flavour and have teamed up with Monin bartender Lee Hyde. The result is a fantastic range of drinks recipes from indulgent treats to refreshing cocktails.
Award winning bartender
Lee is an award winning bartender and has worked in cocktail bars in Cardiff, Leeds, Bristol, Capetown, and Durban before moving to London in 2009. In the capital Lee was head bartender at The Met Bar, part of The Metropolitan Hotel on Park Lane, and also Bar Manager at Bar Americain at Brasserie Zedel which was opened by famous London Restauranteurs Chris Corbin and Jeremy King (The Ivy and The Wolseley).
Following a couple of appointments as Bar Manager at Michelin starred restaurants Pollen Street Social and Dabbous, Lee is now in charge of beverage innovations at Monin.
We love his creative energy. But see for yourself and … get mixing!
