China Green - Caddy

Now: £4.00 Was: £8.00 sku LTSOCCG0515-100 | Net weight: 100g

Loose leaf green tea.

The Chinese have cultivated green tea for more than four thousand years, each region's harvest having its own subtly difference characteristics.  This fine tea is from Zhejiang Province in Eastern China, fertile territory whose subtropical climate lends itself perfectly to tea production.

This is a super example of  green Sencha style tea, where the leaves are heated by steam rather than by direct heat.  Treated this way the leaves retain their silkiness and produce a light, yellow-green liquor.  The flavour is full of refreshing grassy notes with hints of asparagus.

Approximately 30 servings

Loose leaf tea made simple. Take a look at our fabulous teapots (some come with a built-in strainer) and tea strainers.
